About Bremen GA
Quietly nestled in the rolling hills of West Georgia, the town of Bremen prides itself on a welcoming blend of traditional and progressive. Like many small southern towns, Bremen came to life with construction of a railroad line through town in the late 1880s. Increased trade allowed the town to gain recognition for its textile production. Today, the town's 6,250 residents enjoy the charm of small-town living and the convenience of first-rate amenities including medical services, schools and cultural and recreation opportunities. Bremen is located in both Haralson and Carroll counties, although the majority of the town is found in Haralson County.
Area Attractions: Southern Quilt Trail (a display of finely crafted quilts found on historical barns and buildings throughout the area), Sewell Mill (a former textile plant) and the Yogi Bear Jellystone Camp Resort. The Mill Town Music Hall hosts a variety of notable gospel, country and bluegrass music acts.
